API integration company
API integration services that connect your systems and keep them talking.
Avaib connects your software to the tools it depends on — payments, CRM, accounting, shipping and more — so data flows on its own instead of being keyed in twice. Built secure, monitored, and made to keep working when the systems around it change.
Delivered for teams in Australia, the United States, Canada and the Middle East.
Stop keying the same data in twice
Software that works together, so your team does not have to bridge the gaps.
Picture the separate tools your business runs on finally acting as one: an order, a payment or a new lead moving between them on its own, while your team stops re-keying the same information and gets its hours back. Once your systems are connected, that same plumbing is what AI workflow automation runs on to take the manual steps between them off your team entirely.
Most businesses end up with a drawer full of software that does not talk to each other. An order comes in on the website, then someone re-types it into the accounting system, updates the CRM, and emails the warehouse or the logistics platform. It is slow, it is error-prone, and it does not scale. So you look for someone to wire it all together — but the stories you have heard are off-putting: integrations that quietly break, costs that keep climbing after launch, and a developer who has long since moved on. Whether the root issue is software that needs building, systems being moved through modernization and cloud work, or data that needs to flow cleanly into business intelligence reporting, integration is nearly always the thread running through it.
Avaib works differently. We map how your systems really fit together first, build the connections securely, and — the part cheaper builds skip — add the monitoring, retries and version pinning that keep an integration alive when a vendor changes something upstream. One accountable team, code you own, at a cost-effective senior rate.
Not sure which of your systems can talk to each other? That is exactly the conversation we love to have.

The tools we wire together every day.
If your business runs on it and it has an API, we can almost certainly connect it. Here are the systems we join up most often.
Payments and billing
Stripe, PayPal, GoCardless and bank feeds, so payments, invoices and subscriptions reconcile themselves instead of being chased by hand.
CRM and sales tools
Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and the like, so leads, contacts and deals stay in sync with the rest of your business.
Accounting and ERP
Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, NetSuite and SAP, so orders, stock and finances all tell the same story without double entry.
Shipping and logistics
Carrier, courier and warehouse APIs, so quotes, labels and tracking are pulled in live rather than copied from a portal.
Marketing and messaging
Email, SMS, WhatsApp and ad platforms, so your customer data drives the right message at the right moment, automatically.
Internal and custom systems
Your own databases, legacy software and bespoke apps, wired together with the off-the-shelf tools around them.
What we do
The API and integration services we deliver.
Three capabilities under one accountable team. Pick the one that fits, or tell us the problem and we will point you to the right one.
Third-party API integration
Connect your software to the outside tools it needs, from payment gateways and shipping to CRMs, accounting and marketing, so data flows on its own and nobody keys the same thing in twice.

Get a free quoteWhy cheap integrations cost more
The trap: an integration that works today and breaks quietly tomorrow.
This is how the cheap-and-quick integration goes wrong. It is the single biggest reason businesses come to us to rebuild one.
It works on launch day
The integration goes live, data flows, everyone moves on. A quick job by a cheap developer looks like a bargain — for a while.
Something changes upstream
A vendor updates their API, a field is renamed, a token expires, a rate limit is hit. Nobody announced it, and nothing threw an obvious error.
You find out from a customer
Orders stopped syncing days ago, invoices are wrong, or a lead never arrived. The integration failed silently, and the damage is already done.
The fix is not a smarter developer on launch day — it is building the integration to expect change and to tell you the moment something goes wrong. That is exactly what we do.
Integrations that stay working
What we build in so a connection does not fail in silence.
Every integration Avaib delivers has these built in from the start, not bolted on after the first outage.
Monitoring and alerts
Every integration is watched, so if a connection drops or data stops flowing, we know before your customers do.
Retries and back-off
Temporary failures and rate limits are handled gracefully with automatic retries, instead of dropping the data on the floor.
Version pinning
We pin to specific API versions and track vendor change notices, so an upstream update cannot quietly break you overnight.
Graceful degradation
When a third-party service goes down, the rest of your system keeps running and catches up once the service returns.
Logging you can read
Clear logs of what synced, when, and what failed, so a problem can be traced in minutes rather than guessed at for days.
Secure credentials
API keys and tokens are stored and rotated securely, never hard-coded or left in plain sight where they can leak.
The fears, answered
What worries people about integration, and how we handle it.
These are the real concerns we hear before a project starts. Here is exactly how Avaib takes each one off the table.
Why Avaib
Why choose Avaib for your API integration.
Most providers can offer one or two of these. Our whole model is built to give you all of them at once.
We speak to messy, real-world APIs
Poor docs, legacy quirks and half-broken endpoints are our normal. We have wired up the awkward integrations other teams quote around or give up on.
Built to stay working, not just to launch
We build monitoring, retries and version pinning in from the start, so your integrations survive the vendor updates that quietly break cheaper builds.
You own the integration outright
The code, the design and the credentials stay yours. No proprietary middleware you have to keep paying for, and no lock-in to Avaib to keep it running.
Senior expertise, without the premium price tag
The same capability Australian, US, Canadian and Middle-East firms charge a fortune for, delivered by senior integration engineers from around USD 25 per hour.
AI-accelerated delivery
Our senior engineers use advanced AI coding tools to move faster through the routine mapping and boilerplate, steering and reviewing every step, so you get speed without cut corners.
A real QA department and a warranty
Every integration is tested against real edge cases by dedicated QA, and a 30-day post-launch warranty means we are still there after go-live, not gone.
One accountable team, end to end
The same team maps your systems, builds the connections and supports them, so nothing is lost in a hand-off between an adviser and a separate builder.
Want integrations from a team that will still be there after go-live, without the big-firm price tag?

A safe path from separate systems to one connected whole.
Map the systems, agree exactly what moves, test the failures not just the happy path, then watch it in production.
Map the systems
We learn what each system holds, how it names things, and how they should talk, so the plan is built on how your tools actually work.
Design the contract
We agree exactly what data moves, in which direction, how often, and what happens when something goes wrong, before a line of code is written.
Build and secure
We build the connections, handle authentication properly, map the data cleanly, and store every credential securely.
Test the edge cases
Our QA department tests the failures, not just the happy path: outages, bad data, rate limits and vendor quirks, so surprises are found before launch.
Monitor and maintain
We add monitoring and alerts, then stay on with a 30-day warranty and ongoing support so a broken connection is fixed fast, not discovered late.
Pricing
Enterprise-grade integration, without the enterprise price tag.
The same capability Australian, US, Canadian and Middle-East firms charge a fortune for, delivered by senior integration engineering from around USD 25 per hour, at a fraction of the price. You pick the engagement model that fits, and every one is built by senior specialists and owned outright by you.
Single integration
A fixed-price connection between two systems — for example your website and your accounting tool — with a clear scope, a set price and monitoring built in.
Integration project
An agreed price and timeline to join up a set of systems into one connected whole, delivered in slices you can check as we go.
Dedicated integration team
Senior engineers working as an extension of your team to build and maintain a growing set of integrations, that you can scale up or down.
Every engagement is delivered by senior engineers under one accountable team, tested by a dedicated QA department, and backed by a 30-day post-launch warranty, and you own the integration code with no vendor lock-in. Not sure which model fits? We will recommend the right one on a free scoping call and send you a free, no-obligation written estimate with a clear scope and a ballpark price.

Common questions
API integration services, answered.
What is API integration?
API integration is the work of connecting two or more software systems through their APIs so they can share data and trigger actions automatically, without anyone copying information between them by hand. An API is the doorway a piece of software offers for other software to talk to it; integrating those doorways is how your website, payment provider, CRM and accounting tool become one joined-up system instead of separate islands.
Done well, API integration means an order placed on your site instantly updates your stock, raises an invoice, notifies the warehouse and syncs to your CRM — all on its own. Avaib has delivered software across more than 600 projects since 2004, and applies that same engineering discipline to building integrations that are secure, monitored, and built to keep working when the systems around them change.
How much do API integration services cost?
It depends on how many systems you are connecting and how complex they are. A single, well-documented integration is a small fixed-price job, while joining up several enterprise systems is a larger project. Avaib's model is senior expertise at a cost-effective rate, typically around USD 25 per hour, which is why businesses in Australia, the US, Canada and the Middle East work with us instead of paying big-firm prices.
The bigger cost with integrations is usually the upkeep, not the build. We are upfront about both, and after a short scoping conversation we will send you a free, no-obligation written estimate with a clear scope and a ballpark price.
Why do integrations break, and how do you stop it?
Most integrations break because something upstream changes and nobody notices. A vendor updates their API, a token expires, a field is renamed or a rate limit is hit, and a cheaply built connection fails quietly in the background. Around half of developers report hitting a production break from an unannounced third-party change.
We build against that from the start: we pin to specific API versions, watch for vendor change notices, and add monitoring and alerts so a broken connection raises a flag immediately. Temporary failures are retried automatically, and the rest of your system keeps running if one service goes down.
Can you integrate with a system that has poor or no documentation?
Yes. Missing or messy API documentation is one of the most common problems we deal with, and it does not stop us. We probe and test the real behaviour of the system, work out how it actually responds, and document it as we go.
That means you get a working, understood integration even where the original vendor left you very little to work with, and a written record of how it behaves so the next change is easier.
Do you handle authentication and security?
Yes, and it is one of the parts most likely to go wrong if it is rushed. Different systems use different approaches — OAuth, API keys, token exchange, signed webhooks — and each has its own traps. We implement the right one properly for each connection.
Credentials are stored and rotated securely rather than hard-coded, and we verify every incoming call, so an integration is a controlled connection, not an open door into your systems.
Will we own the integration, or be locked in?
You own it. The integration code, its design and the credentials are yours. We favour clean, standard, portable connections over proprietary middleware you would have to keep paying for.
That keeps your options open: you can change one of the connected tools later, or move the work to another team, without being trapped or starting from scratch.
What is the difference between API integration and custom API development?
API integration is connecting to APIs that already exist — usually a third party's, so your systems can talk to their tools. Custom API development is building your own API, so that your systems, partners or apps have a clean, secure doorway to talk to you.
They often go together: we might build a custom API for your product and, at the same time, integrate it with the outside services it relies on. We do both under one team, so the pieces fit.
How long does an API integration take?
A single, well-documented integration can be a matter of days to a couple of weeks. Joining up several systems, or working with poorly documented or legacy ones, takes longer, and the honest estimate comes after we have mapped what is involved.
Because we build and test in slices, you see real, checkable progress early rather than waiting for one big delivery at the end.
